This is 1/43-only scaling decals at the moment-paper mock ups. 1/24 to follow-don't get too excited-you know how slow I am. Have two 1/43 models at the moment-one goes to Gus for his help with pictures. May do a limited run if i can get the base models at a reasonable price.

How is Ari's car coming?

Currently doing a deal with Trofeu to buy 98 blank cars plus the two I have myself to do a limited production run of 100 cars in total. Please be patient as this is my first foray into doing this stuff so all being well they should be ready in time for Christmas. Am keeping number 1 for myself, No 2 goes to Gus for his help with the pictures. Still have not figured how to market these. Would appreciate any advice from you guys-Mark L, Kevin McD on packaging, doing the case labeling etc.

If you want the case covers making to your own design let me know as a guy I know can make them

Fair f**ks to you Rory. I wouldn't worry about marketing them, 100 of them things won't be long in finding new homes!
How did you get on with Trofeu? I didn't think they were going to make blank ones for a year or two yet. PM me how much they are charging you as I'll need some blank models as well (sometime):rolleyes:

Cheers Mark-thinking of calling myself ROCrallymodels. Having lots of ideas at the moment and hope to get better and better as time goes on. First thing is to get these cars done in time for Christmas. Trying to organize decal printing too-have a quote from the guy selling me the cars but am a bit confused as he says I will need two sets of decals for each model. Price is good. Have also e mailed Cartograf for a price-want to set a good standard from the start.:)

Update:

Initial orders placed for 96 cars with Trofeu and have found a guy to do my decals professionally. Plan to do a total run of 150 cars in total with the first 98 available sometime in December. Still figuring a price and so as not to upset this sections sponsor cannot advertise them here so PM me if interested.

All being well should have the first 100 in time for Christmas-planning to do 200 in total. Should have more details soon.

96 Blanks came from Trofeu today, decals from England next week. All in time for Christmas.

I did warn that it could be a bit of a wait.

The decal order has taken far longer to process than I though. I paid for them 3 weeks ago and only got the artwork sample last week. There are now gone to print so I expect to have them by the end of the week-December 4th. Only got the base plate labels sorted on Friday so they have been ordered too. Website registered and just needs to be hosted. Still have to find suitable boxes to put them in for the postage part. Don't want to be sending them in any all manky box. Oh-and I still have to put the decals on the cars too.

Decals have arrived and will be working away this weekend. The same company has done the decals as Trofeu get to do theirs and whilst I have not seen them I am assured they are looking very good. Hope to have a picture up by the weekend. Also given that I am obliged to offer on sale in different section I will not be showing the model on this thread.

I have confirmed orders for 25 so far and am doing a first run of 100.
