For sale is my ex challenge Ford Ka.
Engine:
1.3 endura engine with high lift cams
4 branch manifold
bigger throttle body
uprated oil pump
gasflowed head
Janspeed exhaust system
Bigger focus injectors
High pressure bosch fuel pump
Gearbox:
Chris birbeck built gearbox(5 event from new)
Heavy duty ge****t
Close ratio setup mixture of ka and puma 1.7 gears
Quaife atb diff not sure of the ratio but its tight!
Ap Racing paddle clutch and pressure plate
Heavy duty rally spec clutch cylinder
The box is similar to championship spec but with a few tweeks.
Suspension/Brakes/Wheels
Fully adjustable proflex on all four corners serviced 5 events ago
Brakes are xr3 calipers i think bigger than ka brakes and very powerful these just had new pads. rears are drum brakes but with bigger cylinders.
Hydraulic wrc style upright handbrake
New uprated master cylinders fitted to peddle box
Running wit SRF fluid
Spares include:
Steering rack and column
wishbones
flywheel
plus loads of other bits and bobs that i cannot think of off hand
Spare wing ( painted )
Wheels are 14" speedline corse and i've about 12-14 with it with mixture of tarmac and forrestry tyres.
The car has all belts ,seats etc all in date. Its currenty in forrestry setup and is regarded by lots of people as an excellent car for forrestry.
The car also comes with loads of spares and would be bought for less than the sum of all the parts needed to get to this spec.
Just one or two points to note:
The front right wing is now replaced with a fresh item as i dented it while rubbing a bale on the last outing. Its currently white as I havent had the time to get it stickered up yet. I have a new wing for the other side too.
The car is left hand drive but dont let that put you off as it takes only about 10 mins to get used to.
All in all just sit in and drive it hard as you can!!!
