define "proper" there is rwd conversions out there equally as good if not better than gartrac, not them all though:D

Its not, it is an Escort MK3 converted to RWD, perfect in its own right and a damn good car I am sure and a perfect basis for building a G3 replica. What Mark means, is G3 stands for Gartrac MK3, and that car was not made by Gartrac therefore it is not a proper G3. Lots of people advertise mk3's as been G3, its a bit like saying your WRX is a Prodrive WRC, It maybe a Subaru, but it was neither made by Prodrive or is it a WRC.
Saying that I am sure its a good car and it is maybe a fraction of the cost of a MK Chew with all the same bits and all the same fun that a Mk2 is.
With the amount of Decent MK3 shells about, I cannot fathom out why there are not more of them about, lovely looking cars, you cannot tell much from the pictures but it looks a decent car.

not much rwd drive conversions around is because if newly built they have to b stress tested by msi..and if they pass,class 15 is wher there put,:eek:

She turned some heads when it arrived in parc feirme sunday evening.You could hear the noise coming up the road and a cloud of dust when it arrived and some lunatic hanging out of the boot!!!!! The lads that were loading our car on he trailer dropped everything to go up and luck.She'd a great result and half the price and just as much fun as a €35,000 mk2.Correct me if im wrong but arent some g3's(mk3's)hybrid so if there written off they cant be rebuilt????
