Hi guys,
I have for sale a F.I.A. Appendix K conforming 'Historic Spec' Shell due to an accident which will keep me out of rallying for nearly 18 months!!!
This car is built (with no expense spared!) from an excellent Tax Exempt 1300GT Shell, with all the work to finish the vehicle carried out by a friend of mine at Retrosport in Errol, Scotland.
The exterior of the shell and panels are painted in Ford Diamond White with the underside fully sealed and shutzed. The interior is painted in Ford Matt Black.
Specification:
The rear arches have been tubbed and the shell fitted with Steel bubble arches all round
Large Gearbox and Diff tunnels
Fitted with Gartrac 'Historic Spec' Short 4-link Boxes, Round Turrets and Gussets
Reinforced front bulkhead and is Firewalled Front and Back
Petrol filler hole has been plated over.
Full Safety Devices 12 point bolt in roll-cage
Weld-on brackets for a front strut brace fitted
Suspension hole area of the inner-wing tops have been strengthened
Steel Doors with glass
Bonnet & Boot are Motordrive Fibreglass parts with internal bracing. These have been fitted to the original hinges as per the 'Works' cars.
The bonnet is secured with quick-fit pins, and the boot with quick-release pins.
Shell can be delivered to any UK Mainland Post Code, or Sea Port. Please call for quotation. Trolley frame not included as part of the sale.
Car can also be made Left Hand Drive if required - POA
