Its like any car, they can last or breakdownHave to disagree Mark, if you had 10 Evo 9's and 10 6R4's starting Donegal International tomorrow morning and beng driven at 10/10ths there would be a lot more of the Evos's would finish after 3 days.

I was only referring to your quote that Metros are the same as every other car which i dont believe they are, and if you want to keep them going for any distance you have to drive them very tamely, example , Colin McRae in Donegal 2006 while his times were good he was driving the car like he was out for a sunday run, not his usual style, as he knew if he drove the car how he would like to it wouldnt have lasted till Friday evening never mind sunday.
David Bogie was driving similar this year, not abusing the car not revving it too much and even at that he didnt make the finish line.
One of the best rally cars ever built but sadly not reliable enough.
